Do I need the Chrome extension to use PromptEzy?
Yes - the extension is what puts the ✦ Enhance button inside your AI tools. Without it, you can still log in and manage your library, but the one-click enhancement in ChatGPT, Claude, etc. requires the extension.
Which browsers are supported?
Currently Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera). A Firefox version is on the roadmap.
Is the extension free?
Yes. The extension itself is always free. Your PromptEzy account plan (Free, Pro, Expert) determines how many enhancements per day you get.
Do I need to be logged in for the extension to work?
Yes. The extension syncs with your PromptEzy account to track usage and save your history. Sign in once and it stays connected.
What happens after I enhance a prompt?
You see a side-by-side diff of the original and enhanced prompt along with quality scores across five dimensions (clarity, context, specificity, role, constraints). Click Apply and the enhanced version replaces your input - then just hit send as normal.
